We started home from ES yesterday morning and stopped here in
Davenport, OK for breakfast. Nice place, and good food.

By the time we arrived you couldn't call us early birds.

At the worlds largest pop store I looked for my favorite.....NEHI Chocolate. Not there......but they did have a chocolate covered bacon one.

The historic round red barn.

They are wishing Pat Acord would come back to work.

We stopped for fuel and a pit stop at Russel's Travel Center on the Texas/New Mexico border.

They had a great little automotive museum.

One of my favorite Corvettes.

This is  a 55. I had a friend offer to sell me his 54 for $180. I offered him $150 and he turned me down. I turned out to be the idiot.

They had a lot of Marilyn stuff in here also along with Elvis too, but my camera battery died before I could snap any of him.

A very nice pink 57 T-Bird
55 Olds, my very first car. At least that I was licensed to drive. :)
Hey Shari, do you remember that? Ours was red.

Ryan and Shannon heading back to Hawaii

Mitch led us on a great ride today. We stopped here at the Coney Island Resort and had lunch. Come to find out it was a wrong turn...........way to go! :)

Living the VROC dream, NO RULES!

Tony thinking .....maybe if I sit here real quiet he will forget about me.

Not a chance.......at least he needn't go far for counseling.
Boys and their performance awards!

Needing to cool down a bit we rode to the Roaring River Hatchery.

I guess school is still in session.

Some were pretty good size.

It all starts from the spring in this cave.

Then flows out into this big pond.

Lots of big fish in this pond.

Only a portion of the stream flow leaving the pond.

Mitch built himself a new BBQ and is now burning off all of the residue so his food won't absorb the wrong flavors.

Tony D, Brandon, and myself took a spirited ride today with the intentions of loading up on personal fuel here. This guy thinnks he is the burger equivalent of the soup nazi, but he does make a pretty good burger. Unfortunately, he doesn't open until 11:30 am and were were there at 9:30.

This wasn't going to be a day with many photo opps so I just had to snap a few at 80+ mph. This is the Arkansas River.

Ooops! Tony D isn't waiting for me so I better nail it. :)

Not bad for snapping the shot between the tree gap at 80.

Escaping!

If that thing blows, no way am I stopping!

Tony made the decision not to stop, so had to turn around and come back to enjoy the view. I think Brandon is stretching his back. BTW, these boys can ride!

Beautiful even if a bit hazy. This is from the highest point in Arkansas at 2700 odd feet of elevation.

Looking north.

Looking south. Of course that is only according to my sense of direction. It could have actually been east and west. :)

The wi-fi here at the motel 62 is rather undependable, especially in my room, so these pictures are actually from yesterday.

I've been to the outskirts of Branson, MO before, but this was the first time I have ridden through town.

There are a lot of nice restaurants, motels, and live theater.

This one is the Titanic, although it looks more real from the other side but stopping in the middle of the road wasn't an option.

Every one is brightly colored calling for your attention.

I took this of Ryan and Shannon as we headed out of Branson.

Nice bridges to cross the many lakes and rivers here in MO and AR.

Shannon with one leg in MO and one in AR

Me too!

Most of the group are here now. The big day is tomorrow.

I think Tony D is questioning Eric display of strength.

About thirty of us rode down to enjoy some ice-cream and a Willie Nelson tribute show.

These are our entertainers

They were good enough to dance to

and enjoyable to listen to

The whole group seemed to like them

They were big on involving the audience

Here is Skid giving it his all!

Jason and Bill answering personal question about their love life.

Actor Al looking nervous

Jason doing a good job with his song

Bill is very proud of his twelve pack

but really blowing it when it came his turn.

The Reverend Sherm and his bass solo, fortunately I couldn't take any pictures of myself.

The Thorncrown Chapel is always a peaceful place to visit.

The Crescent Hotel

said to be haunted

if you look close you can see a ghost in each of these chairs

Ooops, I think they just left via the fireplace

On of the many springs in Eureka Springs.

Christ of the Ozarks is a seven story statue

This is the big day!

The brides maids are milling around

Folks are jockeying around for the best place to see

All in their most formal biker apparel

Reverend Sherm, Joe the Groom, Jim the best man, and somebody hiding behind the post. Kind of hard to hide that profile. :)

Bridesmaids no longer milling around.

Waiting for the Bride

The ceremony has begun

Al, reading a short poem

The setting

The Ceremony

The serious part

The transfer of assets

Now the fun begins

The beginning of a new life together

I pray that joy follows you both the rest of your life....

.....and this guy doesn't

Beautiful Cake

A few of us were prepared with proper apparel

Their first riff

Their first reconciliation

All good now!

Let the party begin

The groom with the best dressed men

What have we gotten into.....

.....the best that life has to offer!
