I had two things on my bucket list for this trip. One was to visit that part of Big Bend, NP that I missed last year and the other was to ride the musical highway. I did both, and both were great for me. I stole this pic from Sherm's blog. I rode this thing 4 times just experimenting with speed etc. It was fun for me and I think
Sherm liked it just as much as I did. Sometimes sharing something makes it even more fun!

This is the dance hall in Albert, TX

We met a Harley rider in Luckenbach that was telling us about Albert. He was saying how it was another Luckenbach but better.

Blondy and I rode out to check it out. There are probably two things she won't do again.......ride to Albert, TX or on my Wing. :)

We rode down to a little place the Big Guy told us about. They do a lot of car club photo shoots here. Today, Cheryl did a bike shoot.

They were really lucky to have a professional photographer.

....who made them Stand Out in the river bed! :)

I look better from a distance

Some really big fish in the river.

Blondy found a nice place to relax.

This guy was a big chicken.

Sherm's girls increase in numbers almost daily

A quick stop at Harry's Bar for soft drinks.

Some of the wildlife there

I'm not sure what these are, probably Texas rats.

I couldn't close my eyes fast enough

Coyote got the award.

The traditional stop along the boot fence at the TK Ranch

Good place to pull over and beautiful flowers

Every group has a show off

the consensus was a tree killing fungus

I was trying to find another spot for the group to stop at and stumbled across this.

However it would have been difficult for the group to make it down there so they stopped here with the nice access trail.

My first ever Mexican Sunflowers

The nice selection at Coopers BBQ in Llano, TX. I had the prime rib.

Sherm captured me on the bike at Luckenbach

Everybody is somebody in Luckenbach

This somebody is Blondy

This somebody is Cranky

AKA Bill

Nicest Coyote in town!

This was a pretty good group of impromptu musicians.

Expect to hear country western if you come here.

Something about a country setting that takes you back...........

So far google has not  been my friend it trying to find the history on this house in Grapetown

It was a nice place to take the group to.

The school masters house

The school, it stayed in operation until 1949.

Boomer's birthday, Shannon got him a cookie cake.

The Sunday House Motel provides a nice breakfast each day.

We decided to ride the Three Sisters today but split into two groups.

Our first stop is town of Medina, the Apple Capital of Texas.

There weren't any apples on the tree so we just stood around talking about them.

Some kind of deer in full velvet

This part of Texas has an abundance of exotic animal hunting ranches.

All private, probably all high dollar. Sherm said it would still be cheaper than going to Africa.

Something for the bird hunters........

..............and the big game hunters.

They even have Epic Sized Bunnies there. Pun intended.

Once we left the lowlands the roads became more desirable for motorcycling.

But due to picture order non-congruity we are somehow back in the lowlands

According to Sherm this is the Leaky River because of the leak in the dam.

This is what has leaked out so far.

We were here a year ago and the number was 11 then.

Sherm's hoping to take more pictures later.

I held back so I could take a few pictures that I missed last year.

This tree was growing in the rocks with it root system exposed

When exposed, even the roots grew a thick bark.

From the high vantage the view of the valley was nice.

This was the nicest ranch in the valley

At least of the ones you could see from the road.

In Leaky we stopped for lunch....

......at the Hog Pen

It was okay, but the company was Great!
