I have an easy day planned. However it looks like rain ahead.

The Pecos River

This is the highest bridge in Texas at 273 feet above the water.

The Pecos combines with the Rio Grande just past that point.

This is a big fishing tournament on this reservoir this weekend.

I always appreciate good motorcycle parking

Texas BBQ is always good.

I just know that it is beef and it was very good.

Part of old town Del Rio, TX

I enjoyed a leisurely tour through the Whitehead Memorial Museum

Lot's of info here on Roy Bean and Lillie Langtry

They implied these are the actual graves

Very nice collection of old memorabilia

These were the call letters of the early border radio stations. Also where Wolf Man Jack got his start.

A nice two holer

His beak looked like it could crack walnuts

They never take their eyes off you.

A tiny Crosley engine. I used to have a BearCat outboard that used this engine turned vertically on end.

Of course a tiny engine needed a tiny car.

Read the sign.

This is the tractor Sherm used when he first started farming

This is the ultra modern one he was using when he quit.

Pretty nice

A little girls room back in the day

I like the old architecture. I think I took this waiting for a light in Uvalde.

Starting to look like the hill country minus the hills

I had a very nice dinner here this evening.
