Eldo's mother made him this nice quilt from his lettermans jacket

She did a good job.

He did a good job on his starship Enterprise.......at least until I smashed it with my camera........sorry son.

His pretty wife Kristi

Together forever!

A lone snag left standing in a field.......natures sculpture!

A typical scene in the Tillamook area. Lot's of cheese from these girls.

The last remaining dirigible hanger from the WWII era.

A nice relaxing ride up to Munson Creek Falls.

With the coastal moisture, moss grows on all of the bare limbs.

I parked here at the beginning of the trail to the falls. However, when I made it to the falls I realized I had left my camera in the tank bag. I did take one with my phone and posted it on facebook, but I have none of the falls for the blog.

It's a good thing I rode the dual sport, this may have been a challenge on the Goldwing. <G>

Oregon and Washington produce a large portion of the lumber used here in America and abroad.

I was the original owner of this home in McMinnville, OR. It is now on it fourth owner.

These were my neighbors George and Darlene when I lived there. I still visit them every time I ride through town. They were the BEST neighbors ever!

This is Darlene with Marsha the new owner of my old house. While the front yard is mostly the same, the back yard has seen quite a few changes. Very nice!

Darlene, George and MaryLou. She recently lost her husband Bob who had been my partner in crime when I lived in the neighborhood. RIP Bob.

I stopped by to visit my aunt and uncle in Vancouver, WA, but they weren't home so I rode over to where my granddads farm used to be. It has been developed into several 2.5 acres homesites now and I had a nice visit with some of the new residents. They were real interested in my stories of when I was a little boy visiting grandpas. Grandpa used to give us some change he would keep in a coffee can and we would all walk the half mile up to the Hockinson store. It is still there, and still in the same building. I always bought a chicken stick then, so I bought one today. It was only a penny back then but today I paid $1.14 for one that also included a mini York peppermint.

I used to weigh myself on this scale when I was five, but my dad would have to read my weight and fortune to me as I wasn't tall enough to see it.

It still cost only a penny......

.......but it looks like I may have gained a pound or two. I couldn't quite make out the fortune.

Most of these signs are still from when I was a boy although he has added a few.

Even the fountain is still in tact.

Good things do last!

I rode back to my uncle's but he still wasn't home. I turned around to take a picture of these three steeds.

I arrived at my Stepdaughters a little early and had to wait a few minutes before she got home from work.

She did make it home right on time.

I think her new momma kitty is worn out. :)
