Annie my daughters kitty thinks she can hitch a ride.

Nice Alaskan breakfast. Hashbrowns, bacon, and King Crab.

Crazy Eyes

Crazy Girl

Maybe she is just excited

Hmmm, I bet she could lift my bike if it falls over.

Why am I parked in the middle of the street?

Oh yeah, a little safer to get on here rather than the inclined drive.

For all of those who wondered where she would sit.

......and off we go!

Our first stop was the little town of hope.

Being midweek, not too much was open so I had to take pictures through the windows.

I'm pretty sure this is where Sherm learned to square dance.

The city Social Hall

Almost all of the little cabins were built between 1900 and 1940.

There was no doubt what was being burned at this cabin.

See next pic

for better view, see previous pic.

It almost fit

Gives new meaning to home and garden.

Main St. Hope, AK 99501   (just kidding about the zip)

We had a bowl of soup here in Coopers Landing

Hmmm?

The view east from the restaurant.

The view north from the restaurant. BTW, this is Kenai

Standing in front of the heater sending a text to Mike

Burled support post seem to be popular in both the Yukon and Alaska

A mermaid with real seashells.

Tim had venison taco's. I thinking he might not order them again.

A little park in the city of Kenai.

A lot of mud pits around the rivers and inlets.

This kid was rolling up a big ole mud ball

Sarah is reading up on the areas history

The fish are just now starting to enter the river systems.

Tonight, dad is buying, so it is only fine dining.

I told Mike I would take care of my precious cargo.

This is the Kenai river along the town of Soldotna, AK

They put in these trails.....

.......that lead you down to the fishing platforms.

A water slide......no, just a colorful fence.

Several homes across the river had their own fishing platforms.

Several places for getting a line wet.

Free concert tonight. IMHO, they were probably overcharging.
