We were tired after the ride yesterday so made it easy with a great selection of pizza.

While we were gone, Mike spruced up their backyard. Sarah and I enjoyed a good 45 minutes out there this morning in the warm Alaska sun.
A big surprise and she loved it.

This afternoon we headed to her friend Tammy's for the night.

Her guest either stay in these TP's or cabins that she has on the property.

I love her old 37 International stake bed truck. It runs good, but has a top speed of 45 mph.

This is the main cabin that she lives in.

Chad is out taking advantage of this great day!

I'm enjoying the great view.

Her cabin sits on lost lake, but now it is found.

Her neighbor across the lake commutes by helicopter

One of her guard dogs

He is being friendly now, but I was very cautious when we were shaking paws. Well, he seemed cool, my paws were shaking.

Looks like the neighbors are commuting

Oh, oh, looks like he's aiming.

Tammy, Courtney, and Jenny enjoying the conversation. The dogs are enjoying the view.

Inside the food TP

Getting ready for the pow wow

Roberto moons

Several of the neighbors use these float planes

Fun to watch them take off and land.

Almost airborn

We're clear

Just a little more and we'll clear the trees.

I think I heard her say she had ten in her family coming to visit so she put up all of these TP's

I guess dad with a camera at 8" away wasn't a problem.

Emily is fishing from the dock. A few years ago, the state was stocking the lake with fish. Tammy saw them and mentioned that she was surprised that they would stock private lakes. The immediately pulled their equipment from the water and quietly left. Now they have some nice fishing.

One of the smaller watch dogs

He does keep the big one in line.

View of the cabin from the lake

Tammy, Jenny, Sarah, Mike, and Chad getting the party started.

I like the lily pads on the lake.

They have pretty flowers

Looking back from the peddle boat.

We peddled over to this wreck of an old piper cub.

These are called party barges

This is called a boat

Looks like an American Pirate ship. That might take another beer.

This is the original cabin.

It is still used for guest.

When Sarah and I peddled back we came cross this mallard and her ducklings.

My first time in a TP. I'm so excited.

They look pretty comfortable

Comfy porch

Cleaning up the peddle boat.

Courtney using the paddle board

Emily performing some solo synchronized swimming.

I'm starting to agree with Sarah that Alaska girls are special. I felt that water and I don't think it is even 52 degrees.

Tristen is getting a free ride

At least they got the hang of it. That's more than I could do.

Here they have tied two party barges together. That when it is just called a party.

Nice game, Chicago up3 to 2. Chad lost the bet and took a hose to the face for three seconds.

This is Eric installing a security system for Tammy

This guy seems as addicted to work as I am. Maybe we can start a twelve step program.

Jenny and Sarah enjoying a glass of wine. Jenny ran a triathalon this morning.
