Today, we rode from Toad River to Whitehorse, YT. There were an incredible amount of big game grazing alongside the highway. We sometimes got closer than was comfortable. Tried to stay away from a mama bear and her cubs, but boy were they cute. Tim though they were less than two weeks old. Later in the afternoon, we were riding along about 80 mph when a large hawk took off from the side of the road. He barely avoided Tim's bike, but wasn't able to avoid mine. He hit my left mirror and completely spun it around. We turned around and tried to find it, but couldn't. It is a big surprise when a bird with a 3 or 4 foot wingspan hits your bike. Just glad it missed me.
